As Ramadan seeps into its end....

As I was glancing through my earlier blog posts, I have realized one thing- the absence of colour, exhilaration and excitement that is yet to pop out of my mundane writing. I set up an aim to create more interesting pieces of writeup, filled with pictures and a few memorabilia to spice up the emotions flushing through my writing. And this time, it will surely be something new.

To kick off this new year (that too a leap year) the first day began with a familiar hustle and bustle. The shining floors of the Dhaka airport, the entourage of well-dressed slim airhostesses rushing for their first flight, air tickets and fragrance-infused duty free shops landed on my fate once again. And this time, to the same destination- Calcutta!

However, this trip unlike the previous one, was a narrative tailored with meaningful lessons. I decided to get out of my bubble and explore more, along with my mother, to places that carried rich significance in history and in memory.

So, come along in my adventure, to pay a visit to forgotten history lurking in mystery. Let us commence this new year with the Calcutta Diaries Season 2!
